More than just a joke
In the spring of 2024, I was approached by Monte Carlo Data with a fun and unexpected request: to illustrate the cover for a fictitious children’s book as part of an April Fool’s joke. The concept was playful—something lighthearted to share with their audience—but I was immediately intrigued by the challenge and excited to be part of such a unique project. To my delight, the reception to the joke was so positive that Monte Carlo decided to turn it into something more substantial.
Working closely with the talented Monte Carlo team, we transformed the original idea into a 20-page, fully illustrated book titled Mastering Data Quality and Your ABCs. It was an incredibly rewarding process to see the project evolve from a joke to a fun and educational tool, and I’m proud to have contributed to such a creative and unexpected collaboration.
